Situated in the heart of the old Brighton Lanes, the Coach House is a lively and unique venue with an inviting roaring fire in the winter and a beautiful enclosed courtyard in the summer. Known for its warm welcome and friendly atmosphere, the restaurant has an intimate layout that is great for relaxed dining. The Coach House offers a wide range of seasonal fresh produce cooked to order with daily specials, fresh locally caught fish, vegetarian, meat and game dishes.
We can cater for any dietary requirements and would be happy to discuss menu options tailor made for your dining experience. We also cater for large parties and have a separate dining room for parties up to 25 and can accommodate parties up to 75 for the whole restaurant. We are licensed and available for civil wedding ceremonies, receptions and private parties. Our experienced team, who pride themselves on attention to detail, can organize and arrange your occasion, making sure every event or celebration is memorable and special.

All food is freshly prepared and cooked to order, ingredients are locally sourced and from sustainable stocks subject to season quality and availability.
We are able to accommodate larger bookings for food outside of our food service hours.

The bar is licenced from 11am to 12am Sunday to Thursday and from 11am to 1am Friday and Saturday.
The wine list offers a wide and varied selection to compliment the menu. We also serve draught, bottled beers and fresh ground coffee.

With its convenient central location in the old Brighton Lanes, The Coach House is a lively and unique venue for celebrating your special day, with warm friendly service and a charm all of its own. The restaurant has an intimate and flexible layout, with a beautiful enclosed terrace for summer and a roaring central fire for the winter.
Our creative, caring team ensure each day is bespoke and tailored to your specific requirements. We will work with you to devise menu ideas, seating arrangements, flowers to match your colour scheme, music or entertainment and any special touches that you feel would make the day perfect.
We are licensed to hold Marriages and Civil Partnerships, allowing you to hold your ceremony and/or reception at the restaurant. Alternatively we are less than a 5 minute walk from Brighton Town Hall and have facilities to run a live video stream of your ceremony for any guests that may not be able to be accommodated at the Town Hall registry office. Our dedicated Event Manager will tend to you and your partners every wish and make sure your day is a memorable one.
Civil Ceremony: Up to 50
Reception: Up to 75 seated for dinner. We can also accommodate extra guests after dining has finished.
