Welcome to Coleman school of Motoring. I am an independent approved Driving Instructor established in 1995 and have many years experience in teaching people of all ages to drive. I am fully qualified and register with the driving standard agency and have been the highest grade six instructor since 1996. I am CRB checked. I cover the Norwich area, covering Norwich city, suburbs and the villages around the Norwich area. Not sure if I cover your area, then please contact me. I use the driving test centre which is at Peachman Way Broadland Business Park, Norwich.


I do many different driving courses for all ages from 17 plus to the mature person and anybody in-between. All you will need to start is a current UK provisional driving licence. All my courses are tailored to the requirements of the individual student. I can supply the one hour lesson, semi-intensive, pass plus and refresher courses. All the lessons will be on a one to one base, . My working hours are Monday – Saturday and the first lesson can be as early as 8 am and the last lesson being 7 pm and any time within.

Driving Lesson In Norwich Area

Hourly Lesson: These are one hour lessons, or one-half hour or two hour lessons which you will take on a regular basis to cover the syllabus set out by the Driving Standard Agency so that you start on the road to becoming a safe driver for life. These entire lessons are on a one to one base.

Block booking: I do a discount for block booking which is payment for 10 hours in advance. A receipt is give for the cost and a reminder at the end of each lesson of how many lessons you have left.

Semi-intensive and Pass Plus

Semi – intensive courses: These are driving courses which are usually taken in two hours segments. We can start the course as soon as you are ready, and your first two hour lesson will be an assessment to determine how many hours you would need to prepare for the driving test. Then, once you have passed your theory test we can book your driving test and then fit in the remaining required hours that are needed for you to successfully pass your driving test.

Pass Plus course: This is a course for people who have recently passed their driving test to help them get more experience in the following six areas. We do at least one hour in each area. Rural road, all weather driving, town driving, night driving, dual carriageways and motorways. As Norwich we do not have a motorway close to us I tend to do the pass plus course on a day out in which we can cover these areas and also get some experience on the motorways.
