I sold my house in Harrow in July, after receiving an offer the estate agents gave the keys to Colleys Surveyors to carry out a survey. I left the house in pristine condtition. Normally when returning home after viewings – I couldn't tell that anyone had been in the house. When I got home that day I found debris up the stairs and dirty marks on the bathroom floor. A plant had also been knocked over in the kitchen and the soil clumsily put back in the pot - I spent an hour just cleaning up! As a postscript I should say that following my complaint they gave me £50 in compensation so I felt my grievance was dealt reasonably.
