Hired astra 1.7 diesel for one day. covered about 95 miles on motorway(economy figure for this car is 62mpg combined). Put £9 pounds diesel back in before returning car. Lady at reception said I hadnt put enough diesel back in and by her reconing 95 miles should need about £12 of diesel. I offered her extra £5. This was not acceptable to her, she settled for £10. Ended up paying for £19 of diesel.
