AVOID - You've heard of "Cowboy Builders", these are the Lettings equivalent.

I viewed a property with Complete Lettings which I fell in love with and was perfect for our family. After placing down the required holding fee (a ridiculous £330 which supposedly covers "admin" costs - YIKES, that's a lot of admin!!!) I was contacted an hour later only to be told that we could no longer have the property as the Agency had decided instead to let it to another person on the basis that this person had viewed the property before us and were already an existing tenant of theirs (even though we had placed down the holding fee first and the funds had been taken from our account). When my Partner went in to the office and tried to complain, he was told by the Manager that there was nothing he could do and she appeared indifferent to the position we had been left in. We were told that a refund would be made into our account but as of yet, no payment has been received. So far any attempt in contacting the Manager to discuss where our money has gone has been unsuccessful.......
