Conveniently located a few miles from the M1 and M6, close to major business cities such as Birmingham and historical towns such as Warwick and Stratford upon Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace). Coombe Abbey is an ideal base in which to explore The Midlands.
Set in 500 acres of parkland, overlooking formal gardens and a tranquil lake and originally built as a Cistercian Abbey in the 12th Century, Coombe Abbey has now been lovingly restored to its former glory by its current owners No Ordinary Hotels.

Our accommodation is worthy of being ‘no ordinary'. Coombe Abbey Hotel boasts 119 individually designed Bedchambers : Crown, Feature and Grand Feature rooms.
Rich in furnishings, subtle lighting and special touches and with a choice of beautiful views across our historic courtyard, tree – lined drive or Parkland, lake and formal garden. Each room offers a unique stay, the perfect excuse to return time and time again.
All our bedchambers are fully en-suite, equipped with flat screen TV, complimentary wireless broadband, direct-dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, hairdryer, 24 hour room service and are non-smoking.

beautiful hotel, but overpriced. although i havent been there since the restaurant was extented it was only the kind of place you would go occaisionally as it not good value for money, the fact that its outside coventry but with the prices of central london. food is good (except chips which are obviously bought in frozen and you can get them at a take away!) but the atmosphere is a bit businessy during the week,tho better on the weekend.

Magnificent
I stayed at Coombe Abbey my 1st two nights ever in Europe. It was a wonderful stay and great location for my company's global conference. I hope to spend a few more nights here for personal time in the near future. The grounds are magnificent and the room was impecable. This is a must see! Enjoy!! A somewhat picky Yank
