Not only was my food raw inside.... when I complained to management all they said they could do is apologise, they wouldn't replace it or issue a refund.I don't see why I should have had to pay for something inedible! This place is a Joke!!

The CopperPot in Leamington has recently undergone a refurb. It can now sit proudly amongst the other modern bars and eateries that the Spa town of Leamington has to offer. The interior is modern and plush without being too stuffy or formal. The food is excellent(borderline "Gastro" pub) and a good selection of modern beers and some old faithfuls.Didnt get to see the outside as not a smoker but am led to believe the beer garden is being extended just in time for the summer!!The bar staff are cheerful and extremely helpful and actually seem to enjoy working there. As long as they maintain the Status Quo then we will have no hesitation in returning time and time again.

Following the closure of Yates across the road, the Copper Pot has recently undergone a refurb as it was quite possibly the most shabby looking pub along Warwick Street. Now the decor has been updated and fits the bill well, I just the same sort of thing could be said for the management there. My advice to anyone wishing to play on their touch screen games machine would be to ask at the bar for change. This is the only machine of this type that I have ever encountered that doesn't offer any change whatsoever for ten pound notes (and believe me, I've played on a lot of these machines). When it became apparent that it wasn't going to offer me back the £8 balance, I advised the barmaid who was actually very friendly and agreed that it was quite normal for these machines to take the first two quid of your note, and to offer the rest as change. So she called the manageress down to resolve our problem. Oh dear. The manageress had a different view. She said it was our fault for putting the money in. We asked her that if someone puts in a twenty, then is it realistic for them to be thinking "oh, I know, I want to play forty games of Deal or No Deal"? There's no sign on the machine advising that no change will be given, so it could happen and I imagine it will happen too. The manageress was equally dismissive the following day. When we said that we want this resolved and we will consider not coming in again, we were told we were no longer welcome there anyway. In short, the pub could be great, but the total lack of people skills demonstrated on our most recent visit has left a sour taste. The customer is always right, unless you're at the Copper Pot.
