These guys really help me out. My macbook died at the worst possible time and I had about 2 weeks worth work. They did a great rush job and I'm very grateful. Now I have also discover dropbox, which I highly recommend.

I wish I NEVER went to them! 0 stars. Minus five! Terrible. They ruined my hard drive state. I went to Mac1 in Covent Garden and was quoted £155+VAT, which my husband thought was too pricey so we did some price spotting and found CTS, unfortunately. CTS offered £80. A much more desirable price. My husband thought it might be better to save money so I was swayed... :(. At Mac1 they scanned my hard drive, which took 20mins at CTS it took more than 24 hours! After the 20mins at Mac1 they said the next process to grab everything off of the unmountable hard drive I had would take 6hours. After the 24hours at CTS they took another 24 hours and they said they would "clone" my hard drive, which would cost £££ way more than Mac1's original quote. I refused the offer and collected my hard drive. When I arrived they had my hard drive in a plastic envelope type of thing! Not even replaced into the laptop! I went back to Mac1 and asked them to help me again. They informed me after they scanned the har drive again that it is taking way longer than 20mins as it did before. I left it with them over night. The scan didn't go through. So they tried again on another computer over night again but it still didn't work. They said that the company I went to before, CTS, have damaged my hard drive way more than it initially was. They could not help me with the issue as their facilities weren't equipped enough. I am now having to go to a company recommended by Apple Genius Bar staff which costs £$£$$££$$ a crazy amount called CBL Data Recovery. (Check to see if your insurance will cover this wholly or partly, mine did cover accidental damage (from myself, not accidental from CTS's end.) Thanks for nothing CTS. I should have trusted my instinct and stayed with Mac1! Moral of the story: Price does not equate to established ethic/standards. I would suggest to steer clear of CTS. Highly UNrecommended!!! Good luck to anyone who reads this.
