If you have less than 250 staff and you are situated within the boundaries of Cleveland, Durham, Tyne and Wear or Northumberland; you will therefore be eligible for funded training.

Select just one member of staff for a pilot sheme- chose from NVQ WAREHOUSING & DISTRIBUTION or PLANT MACHINERY, BASIC SKILLS, or STAFF TRIAL and you will receive a gratuitous short course of up to 5 days. Candidates must be 19 years old or older.

Entry criteria - Trainees can hold any level of qualifications for Basic Skills but for NVQ's, must have lower than 5 GCSE Grade C, and not hold another NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.

Staff Trial - Take a mature adult on a 3 month placement (you can pay them a voluntary contribution if you wish).
We will train them one day per week at our centre, to achieve Fork Lift, Safety Awareness, Manual Handling, HIAB, Cherry Picker etc... They will also complete an NVQ Level 2. If you are happy with their contribution after 3 months, they may make a welcome addition to your staff?

Ladder Safety, Safe use of Fire Extinguishers, Safe use of Ladders,

Breathing Apparatus, Yard Shunting, Load Retention, Safety Awareness,
Risk Assessment, COSHH, plus many other courses.
