In addition to arranging and conducting funerals we also provide a full Monumental Service (new memorials, additional inscriptions and restoration work) and flexible Funeral Pre-Payment Plans through Perfect Choice.

Also, we now offer an extensive range of memorial jewellery and keepsakes, designed as a way to preserve the memory of your loved one. The integration of cremation ashes or a lock of hair within the jewellery helps to create a beautiful and lasting tribute. There is an abundance of funeral plans and providers in the UK and it can be difficult to find the best product for your needs. At Crake and Mallon Funeral Service we have been offering pre-paid funeral plans since 1989, and since forming our partnership with Perfect Choice in 2006, we have seen a year on year increase in the number of people wanting to organise and pay in advance for their own funerals. We believe that our commitment to home visits and our ability to provide bespoke funeral plans has ensured our continuing success. Q. What happens to my money?
A. A Perfect Choice Plan gives you exceptional financial security. Every penny of the full value of a Perfect Choice Plan (excluding the initial management fee) is held securely in a whole of life assurance policy and ringfenced to pay for your funeral. Only works with UK-based life assurance companies that are authorised by the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) and regulated by the PRA and Financial Conduct Authority and are members of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.

Q. Who is eligible?
A. Anyone over the aged of 18 can take out a Perfect Choice Funeral Plan, there is no upper age limit and no medical or health questions to answer.

Q. Is the plan guaranteed to cover the entire cost of the funeral?
A. Yes, the Perfect Choice Funeral Plan offered by Crake and Mallon is not only guaranteed to cover the funeral directors costs but also the disbursements such as cremation fees, church fees and ministers fees. Many plans only offer an allowance towards these essential funeral expenses - at Crake and Mallon we guarantee disbursements so, as long as your requirements do not change, there will be no further charge at the time of need.
