Poor

I went to this flying school to train for and get my ppl having done all of my written exams in September I was just waiting for the weather to get better so started recently. I booked four lessons with them the first lesson was ok apart from when you go into the box like building it smells like damp and you feel very unwelcome they all seem pretty clicky, The second lesson was cancelled they said it was due to weather, with wind at 13knots and visibility 5km with a cloud base of 3500 feet broken this was fine to fly in. The third lesson was very unorganised, the instructor was hard to understand and his English was bad, we had just done startup checks and another instructor came out moaning because he had booked the plane and its been discussed before apparently. Now the prices are something else 1hour is £155 in a Cessna 152 And 240 in a piper After 3 lessons with cranfield aviation training school I had enough and went next door to another flying school, after getting there the boss offered to take me to sywell for free and I could fly but unfortunately I was busy as the other school just wasted 3 hours of my time. Lessons are cheaper at £119 something in a tomahawk and 149 in a piper and the planes are so much nicer and well looked after you no longer feel the flying trip will be your last. If you read this I would not recommend c.a.t.s (cranfield aviation flying school) to anyone I would honestly go somewhere else.
