A little bit of Island luxury. Boutique bed and breakfast in Whiting Bay, Arran. A peaceful and intimate base from which to explore everything that the Island has to offer. With hosts to make you comfortable and advise on whatever activities take your fancy.

We are Rob (a Scottish Geologist) and Nanette (an American HR professional), and have lived for most of our adult lives in Glasgow visiting Arran regularly and especially when hosting visitors. Having travelled extensively we wanted to establish a place which combined the best of all the great places we have stayed in, and to offer visitors help in making the most of a visit to Scotland and in particular, Arran.

Between us we have quite a range of interests and many with an outdoor focus: walking, climbing, cycling, kayaking, fishing and bird watching; also Scottish history, archaeology, genealogy, interior decoration, cooking & baking, (with special interest in food intolerances and preferences) and malt whisky.

We bought the property in 2015 and have spent the intervening time sympathetically converting a beautiful 19th century house into a comfortable and welcoming destination. Peace and luxurious relaxation are main things on offer in addition to any help or advice about how you might like to spend your time on Arran should you require it.
