The Cottages

There are thirteen individual units at Cwm Chwefru Cottages. They range from self contained studio apartments to two bedroom family suites and have been recently refurbished with new bathrooms. All our cottages have fantastic views of the surrounding Welsh countryside and are equipped with fully fitted kitchens and bathrooms.

Cwm Chwefru Cottages are located in a secluded valley in the heart of Wales. It is the ideal place to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, but close enough to many of the historic attractions of mid Wales.
There are many beautiful walks and excellent mountain bike trails nearby, either from the resort or a short drive away. Birdwatchers will find many interesting species in the valley including the famous Red Kites.

The Region

In the heart of Wales, Cwm Chwefru is set in a secluded valley, surrounded by fields and forests. This is the perfect resort for walkers, country lovers and bird-watchers, or as a base to explore the Brecon Beacons, Snowdonia and the many other beauty spots of Wales.

Baa and Bistro

Gilly and Billy would like to welcome you to Cwm Chwefru's. ‘Baa and Bistro' opened on 1st May 2014. We pride ourselves on homemade locally sourced food. We have a set menu and will add new options in time. Our meal times are Tuesday and Thursday 6.15pm – 8.45pm. Please fill in our booking form at reception stating the time you would like to dine and your meal choice. “If you care not to dine but you fancy a wine come and join us at the Baa!" Minimum numbers may apply during winter months. Payment by cash only please.
