All the services you need are under one roof- ensuring your media has a consistent look as well as saving you time and money. "If you're not happy with the quality of your finished product, we'll reprint it." You'll find our staff courteous and friendly and always willing to discuss you requirements.

Print Finishing

If you're going to start something properly, you might as well finish it properly as well. Having your business material designed and printed professionally gets you only halfway there for things like folded leaflets or booklets. You need to look into how you want your products to be finished. Print finishing gives you a whole host of options such as folding, stapling, laminating, binding scoring, cutting, hole-punching, die-cutting, embossing, collating, comb binding and spot UV varnishing amongst others. It's usually not expensive at all- you shouldn't be paying more than about £10 for folding 250 leaflets. You might just think 'Oh, I can do it myself' or 'I'll get Carol on reception to do it,' but we've all been in that terrible job where we've had to fold leaflets for three hours straight. But the main reason to get it done professionally is because it will look better. Printers have machines to do all these things properly, whcih means that folded edges will look crisp and neat, hole punches will be lined up properly and staples will look the same on each item. You want the level of quality to be consistent throughout all of your business materials. Because consistent high quality is the message you want to convey to your customers about your business. Simple really.

Carbonless Stationery

Carbonless stationery is exactly what it says on the tin. If you have been in business for a number of years you will probably remember a time when most duplicate pads had sheets of carbon underneath the top of layer of paper so that the writing transferred onto the next page. This was extremely messy. So when carbonless duplicate pads were invented we were all pretty happy about it.NCR (No Carbon Required) pads can be used as order pads, restaurant and bar pads, for invoices, delivery notes and duplicate sketch pads. They can be used for anything that needs writing- or drawing- twice really or even three times. If you haven't yet switched from carbon dublicate pads, you should try these out. You'll never go back, I swear. You usually get 1 greyboard sheet with each pad so the writing doesn't show through onto more pages than you want it to. You can have them printed in a range of sizes and each part of every page is in a different colour to help you keep your business organised.

Printed Stationery

So, we've covered a load of stuff about sales printing and broadly what sales and promotional printing means. In this post, I'm going to cover what is meant by printed stationery or business stationery.Printed stationery are the kind of paper products that you use around the office every day. Things like letterheads and compliment slips. These are the types of things that you might send correspondence out on or write little notes on. It may even be the envelopes that you send the letterheads out in. Business cards are also included under the umbrella heading of business stationery or printed stationery.Because this is the stuff that you are sending out to your customers on a daily basis, there are a few things you should bear in mind before you go and get them printed.Make sure all your business stationery is consistent. Use the same colours so that it is recognisable as coming from your company.Use your logo on all your business stationery along with your contact information. This sounds obvious, but so many people get carried away with how something looks, that they forget the basics a bit.Don't print these at home on your own computer. If something is home-made it will look home-made. And if you don't want your business to come across as being more of a hobby to you, I would strongly advise getting them printed professionally. Be serious about your company and that's how others will perceive you.Keep it simple. Unlike leaflets and flyers, business stationery is meant to be used for writing on and printing on predominantly- witht the exception of business cards. So don't make the design too overpowering. It should still be secondary to the message you are sending to your customers and shouldn't be distracting.Like the promotional printing, I will be delving further into the specific products within Printed Stationery in future posts. As always, thanks for reading. For more information or for a free quotation, visit www.dspad.co.ukor call 01142854050

I have been let down by so many printers in the past- even local ones. I always like to support local businesses anyway, but was happy to find with DS, that there prices were cheaper than a lot of bigger online companies. So there's no contest really! Thanks for all your help Paul. See you soon!
