The relationship between a surgeon operating theatre and a data recovery technician clean room

Data recovery is a process involving making data accessible in a hard disk which has physically or logically failed. A skilled technician with at least 5 years of experience with access to a class 100 clean room facility can carry out repairs or hard disk transplants in order to temporarily repair them so that they kept alive for a limited length of time. A clean room is analogous to an operating theatre in which a qualified surgeon operates on a patient who needs vital surgery involving organ transplants in order to be kept alive. A Once the hard disk has been repaired in the clean room i.e. operated on in the operating theatre, the hard disk is imaged and the actual process of data recovery begins. Data Recovery Doctor has the ability to handle the most difficult cases of data recovery and pull out the data from a faulty hard disk. Hard Drive Recovery we are in the business of making people happy!

When we say we are in the business of making people happy, we do not exaggerate by any measure. Just 2 weeks ago, we had a photographer who had stored all his high quality raw images on a 1TB hard drive which had just decided to stop working. He was obviously upset and devastated to find out that his master photos collected over a lifetime, had just evaporated in the air. He was begging us to assure him that something could be done to restore his beloved photos. Just before that, a documentary producer had lost his entire collection of recent work he was finalising for one of his clients. His strict deadline meant that without recovering his video clips, he would be unable to meet the strict deadline set by one of his major clients; a deadline he could never afford to miss. It has become all too common a scene in which extremely upset and sometimes crying students who have lost the only copy of their dissertation or coursework, come to us for help. It isn’t just individuals who lose their valuable data because of their carelessness not to back up their data on a regular basis. We quite often see company executives whose laptops are maintained regularly by their dedicated IT staff, coming to us to recover data which was lost just before it was scheduled to be backed up. All these people have one thing in common: a strong feeling of frustration and sense of loss which is extremely painful. At some point in our lives, all of us have had this feeling in different ways: losing a loved one, losing a golden opportunity, losing a bag and so on. The trouble is that in most of these cases it is almost impossible to recover any of these losses. Man oveshadowed by technologyThe problem gets a bigger dimension when we realise how dependent on technology we are. It is interesting to note that it is not just computers that use hard drives for storing and processing data but mobile phones, game consoles, video cameras, photo cameras, MP3 players, iPODs, sound recorders, satellite receivers, medical equipment, aircraft and even cars now all use hard drives for storage and fast data access. This dependency has a big negative drawback and that is creating a single point of failure which in this case is the hard drive. However despite all this doom and gloom, data is arguably the only item that can be lost and found; the digital nature of data storage in electronic equipment enables a data recovery expert to analyze the data container i.e. the hard disk or the partition and work out the best method to restore the data and bring the dead back to life. HDD: The Bride SightIt is in doing so, that Data Recovery Lab can make a man or woman who has experienced that sense of loss, happy. The photographer, the filmmaker, the student and the company executive all feel so good when they see that they have found what they thought they had lost for ever. You may have wondered how data recovery company can make people happy. Now you know. If you have lost any data and need help, please call 0207 516 1077 or visit www.datarecoverylab.co.uk.

Data Recovery Doctor rescued all my photographs I feared I had lost for ever

It is a dreadful to realise you have lost all your lifelong collected photos especially when your profession depends on that. I bought a 1TB USB external Iomega hard disk and copied all my photo collection from my old MAC and deleted all the photos from the source. Unfortunately my new hard disk failed within 4 months. I was devastated as this was the only copy of all the photos I had. I called a couple of data recovery companies I found on the internet. None of them sounded more professional and convincing than Data Recovery Doctor who were very helpful and reassuring. I decided to go for them and sent my hard disk for data recovery. They called me 2 days later and emailed me a file listing of what could be recovered which was 98.5% all the data I had lost. I was so thrilled. They sent me the recovered data in a new USB hard disk a day later. Very impressive. Highly recommendable. Data Recovery Doctor did an excellent job and saved my life and my job too.

I would just like to thank you for the quick and prompt service I received from Data Recovery Doctor. I broke my USB in two, and like most people this device supports me heavily in my job role. I made the mistake of not backing up my documents. I contacted Data Recovery Doctor and was told to bring my USB to their workshop. I handed my broken USB stick in on a Wednesday evening at around 7.30PM and received a phone call on the Thursday morning confirming all my work had been successfully recovered. Excellent Job, very fast, efficient and professional. I would strongly recommend their services to anyone who need data recovery services.

get someone with their own lab in the UK not one abroad

When checking who to use for data recovery in the UK indeed worldwide be sure of a few things. If a sale price is half the previous price .. when does a sale end ? and do they have the facilities needed to do what they say they can do or are they sent away and if so who do they send it to.. its your data you need to know where it is. Just because a London or Belfast or wherever based data recovery company quotes you £1000+ for your hard drive to be rebuilt do not assume the work is done in London. You would be surprised many go to Latvia, NewYork and now most go to one of the largest labs in the UK which charges a third of the cost direct to the general public and are based in Sheffield. Any successful Data Recovery will have a lot of equipment, software, and at least one clean room. They will have data recovery, hard drive fault diagnosis, hard drive rebuild and electronics experts who do this sort of work day day out and have the systems to make the chance of recovery the highest possible. They will be more than a name and a website that looks good and claiming they have been around for years but there is no record of them before last month ask for their company number and ask when they were incorporated. The most well known data recovery companies are not necessarily the most expensive except for the global players who generally charge higher rates on the back of their marketing expenses. The UK data recovery industry is a fragile one with many data recovery companies not having accounts, losing clients data and even going bust after sending drives abroad for repair. Some do not even send them away and attempt rebuilds or repairs they no nothing about and have at best a 1 in 10 chance of being lucky the other 9 saya good bye to your lifes work , works data or precious memories. Find a company with its own ISO Certified clean room, there should be a certificate on their website. Ask for its company number for your reference, make sure it is not a name just set up to trade for a couple of years then do a bunk before the tax man catches up. Beware of testimonials which are too good to be true, and from companies which are unlikely to deal with new data recovery companies. How do you check if a data recovery company has done work for the government anyway ? Most claim to have done work for big international, fact is they might have done work for an employee but it is highly unlikely any company want to admit to losing valuable data, why because heads of departments cannot afford the bad publicity. Sometimes the best data recovery companies are those with just a few specific testimonials from real world people who have given their permission for their name to be used, do not hold any store about testimonials that seem to be penned by the same website design company. So when choosing a data recovery company beware, use your judgement and ask if they are members of any trade bodies where you can check their credentials or if they have had their lab tested by an independant clean room testing company like Bassaire or Monmouth Scientific and do not worry where your drive is going to, just worry if you are likely to get it back !.

Data Recovery Doctor saved us 6 months' hard work!

A user had not backed up a very important project. It comprised of one months work. The disk in her PC that held the data then failed. We have a huge amount of expertise within our dept, and are rarely beaten, but this disk had lost its partition. And appeared to have lost all the data. Despite our best efforts, using all the tools at our disposal we could not recover the data. The faulty HDD was sent to Data Recovery Doctor on Monday. On Wednesday we received two DVDs with all the recovered data. Unbelievable! Not only that. At each stage of the saga, Data Recovery Doctor staff were helpful, and even returned calls when they said they would keep me informed of progress. A very good job indeed!
