I established DB Fire Safety Limited as an independent fire safety consultancy. Based from our Peterborough office, we serve clients throughout England and Wales; including Northamptonshire, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Bedfordshire.

Fire Safety Awareness

Regardless of legislation, however, I consider it of great benefit to provide all staff with an understanding of general fire safety awareness. This helps them recognise the hazards and risks within the business as a whole, and in their area of work in particular.

On Line Fire Safety Courses

Current legislation, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, applies to all workplaces regardless of the number of employees and requires employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness for all members of their staff. Our online fire safety training courses are aimed at all employees to assist them in identifying and reducing the risk that fire presents in the workplace.

Emergency Lighting

Legislation requires that Emergency lighting is required for an emergency situation when the main power supply is
cut and any normal illumination fails. The loss of mains electricity could be the result of a fire or a power cut and the normal lighting supplies fail. This may lead to sudden darkness and a possible danger to the occupants, either through physical danger or panic.
