ANOTHER HAPPY CUSTOMER!!!!

I bought my Mercedes from Derby Car Centre and am absolutely delighted with it. Riaz, the salesman, was brilliant. My husband was in hospital at the time and I had been looking for a vehicle for quite a few weeks (even travelling to Shropshire to view one) and my previous car was about to die a death. I hadn't been looking for a Mercedes as I didn't think I could afford one of a reasonable age with low mileage. Riaz couldn't have been more helpful. No intimidating sales patter, no hovering whilst I looked at cars. I feel I got a good deal on a good car. I have now had my vehicle for two months without any problems whatsoever. It is a joy to drive!

I bought a Zafera car on Saturday and received great service and help from the salesman Reaz ( hope I spelled his name right) very friendly and honest . The car runs and looks brilliant and I could not be more satisfied The car was almost unmarked for a secondhand car and runs great I will be back for me next car without hesitation

BUNCH OF COWBOYS!! Since having a new addition to the family my partner and I decided to get a bigger car. So I travel down to Derby as I saw a nice scenic online. It wasn't cosmetically in a fantastic condition but as long as it was mechanically sound I didn't mind and was told that it can be valeted. I put down a deposit and they gave me 12 months warranty too. (Had to remind the sales dealer to write down on receipt as promised). The manager even said if I wasn't happy with it I can return it to them in 7days and get a refund. They said once the car had been sorted I can come and collect in a few days. Because I was travelling back down south to see family they said they would deliver the car to me if the car wasn't ready on time. When I did get a call it was on the day I was leaving so they said they'll have it down to me by the weekend. Well, that weekend came and went and still no word from them. Chase up time...I kept on being fobbed off for nearly a week after until eventually 2 men turn up at the house and asked if I'd like to take a test drive. Even though it was an inconvenient (because of family and relatives being over for a bbq as well as seeing our new baby) I thought the guys have travelled a fair distance and I can't just tell them to come back another time. SO I took it for a drive and it drove good. I spoke to the same salesman who I saw before and paid the rest of the cash. The NEXT DAY HOWEVER my Dad noticed that the car was leaking and saw a small crack on the windscreen and thought it was best to contact them to report it. They basically washed their hand of it and said it's too far to get a mechanic out. I reminded them about the warranty being signed and then they said to try and bring it back to get it fixed. So 2 days after we set out to drive up there. My dad driving the car, my sister in her car and i'm in my old car. We hadn't gone barely 5 miles up the road when my Dad called on his mobile to say he had BROKE DOWN ON A BUSY ROUNDABOUT! We were shocked!! I just kept on thinking if I'd had been in that car with the baby!! So we had to turn back and drive back to the house leaving the car parked up on the side until my Dad came back with his van to try and start it up again. Once we got the car back on the driveway, my Dad called them to have a stern word and said about a refund to which the salesman replied he only sells the cars and cannot offer a refund. He said we would get the manager to give us a call...Of course he never did for the rest of that day! I phoned back the following day and he point blankly REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK! Stating it was a sound car and passed it's MOT etc (anyone can give out those bits of paper!)...Since it was still under warranty he said he will fix the problem when returned. So with the car topped up to the brim with liquid, we all made the journey again up there and met the manager to sort things out. We listed the problems and once I asked for my money back HE REFUSED AGAIN and still stuck to it being fine. I told him I didn't feel safe in the car to which he amazingly replied ‘it's perfectly sound, there's is nothing wrong with it. If I wanted to sell you a dodgy car then I could have easily done but I didn't..' (Ummmm....okay!??!). We left the car for repairs and they said it would take a week or so to sort out....4 WEEKS LATER I get a call to say to collect. We took the car and on inspection there was a VERY LARGE CRACK ON THE WINDSCREEN & STILL WASN'T PROPERLY VALETED! But my Dad said not to bother as it took long enough to get it back. They gave us another fob key as we were only given one and the salesman added a smarmy comment of ‘I hope we don't see you again too soon!' (Rude!). When we returned to the house we used the spare fob to lock the car only to realise it was a fob TO A DIFFERENT RENAULT CAR!!!! All dishonest salesman working there and reckon they have a ‘I scratch your back and you scratch mine' with their MOT place too.....We reckon they must have JUST done enough to get the car from the centre to be delivered. Then from that time on it was a waiting game before it went wrong. I'm just glad I didn't collect it myself before travelling. THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE HAS BEEN VERY FRUSTRATING, TIRING & DISAPPOINTING! STAY WELL AWAY!!!

biggest mistake i ever made

I agree with lauren mosley, they are rubbish dont go there. The first mistake was going there in the first place. The second mistake was believing the salesmans spiel and trading our perfectly good car for a car that needed a lot of work doing to it to make it roadworthy.I wont bore u with all the grisly details but after i had bought it they taxed it for me but unfortunately they taxed the wrong car.None of their staff noticed this "clerical" error luckily i did. They then informed me that they had mislaid the log book whoops which did not fill me with confidence .I then asked to have my old car back until they sorted this little problem out but they said they had sold my car and didnt offer me any alternative solution to the problem LO and behold next time i visited the dealer which was about a radio that didnt work which is an even longer story my old car was on the fore court with a for sale notice on it that was 500 pounds more than the price the sales man said he would get when he was negotiating a trade in price for mine .This not the end of the story stay tuned for more.
