Have had my furniture a few weeks now and I have to thank you it is absolutely fabulous. It looks great with my white leather sofas and slate grey curtains. I was a little bit worried about buying it without seeing it in the flesh so to speak but needn't have worried at all. So once again thank you very much and I will not hesitate to recommend you to my friends. Hope you have a very happy and succesful new year.

A friend recommended this site to me. I normally don't buy online but my friends were very happy with the quality of the furniture that was delivered. I can recommend this site to anyone - we're over the moon with our new sideboard and tv unit!!! :-)

excellent service
I found this website when looking for affordable furniture to furnish my daughters new flat. I've had some bad experiences with Ikea furniture lately plus the hassle of assembly so i was looking for alternative options. Design 247 proved extremely helpful and quick in their responses to my queries via email. Most of their products (except dining tables) are ready assembled which is a huge benefit. 2 oak side tables, a tv unit and a dining table were delivered in excellent condition and are of great quality. My daughter and her husband are very please indeed!

Brilliant Furniture!!!
Wow! We ordered a solid oak TV unit, and I have to say this is fantastic! Great wood, solid build, arrived in immaculate condition. I'd guess a similar piece bought in the high st would cost at least double the £300 we paid. And this is solid, no veneer! Well chuffed!

Just brilliant!
We just received our furniture and really are chuffed to bits! Can't believe we only paid a few hundred ponds for heavy solid oak furniture. At Ikea you get veneer for that kind of money. I can recommend this site to anyone.

amazed with value for money
My wife and I ordered a few tables from design247 to furnish a lunch room we've just taken over in the west country and can say that we're well impressed with the quality of these tables. They were very helpful advising us aboout the size we needed. The only criticism really was the delivery time. On their site they say delivery takes between 2 and 3 weeks and in our case it was nearly four weeks. We will definiately use them to furnish the rest of our business though. very good value for money indeed. ++++

excellent value
My boyfriend I recently moved in together and were looking for an affordable way to get hold of some nice quality furniture. A friend recommended design 247 who sell solid oak furniture. We bought dining table romance, coffee table romance and a large sideboard from them. Delivery was a few days longer than expected but they informed us about that so all in all very happy with the level of service provided and the furniture looks even better in 'the flesh' than on their website!

Oak tables
My wife and I ordered a TV unit and a coffee table from them. Nicely finished products, we have other oak products in our house and these fit nicely with them. We also mentioned it to our son about 3 weeks ago and he has just ordered a table from them too.

We ordered a few pieces of furniture from design 247 a few weeks ago: oak table rex, chairs lilly black and white, coffee table royal and tv unit royal. We received it today and we're chuffed to bits with it - hence this positive review. I understand that they are relatively new to the UK and just wanted to give them some credit. Design 247 is an online furniture store that sells wooden furniture at low prices. Their web address is www.design247.co.uk I just took delivery of an Oak Table Classic for £189 along with 6 Chairs for 69 each. Wow, what a gorgeous Table!!! I didn't think i could get a solid oak table for under £200 and that includes shipping! Delivery was really fast as i only ordered 2 weeks ago. I feel that I've got a great deal and they're very quick in responding to queries as well. Would recommend this site to family and friends. +++++

Oak Furniture Design 247
Early January 2011 we bought a dining table a coffee table and a TV Cabinet on www.design247.co.uk On the site it states that the furniture is all solid oak, which caused me to be a bit skeptical at first as their prices would suggest otherwise. Their customer service agent confirmed that they really do use solid oak and so i placed an order knowing that i could always return the goods within 7 days and get a full refund. They let you choose from few different finishes: natural, whitewash, greywash and colonial (dark oak). We chose the Natural finish. They offer the following payment methods: paypal, credit or debit card, cheque or bank transfer. The order process is fairly straight forward. Paypal is great because you're online purchase is 'insured' if you use this payment method. The delivery time stated is 2.5 weeks. They did go over that by about 5 days as it took about 3 weeks for them to deliver the items. I was very pleasantly surprised as my husband and i opened the boxes.. (well packaged so a lot of cardboard to get rid of) very solid and chunky furniture with a great quality and feel to it! We feel that this is a real bargain and would recommend it to anyone!
