As a young an ambitious team our new ‘baby' is aimed at creating a name out of itself as: Design Universe Apparel Limited.

We are extremely excited to be involved in the fabulous world of Fashion and all of its great aspects. We believe in a philosophy whereby a trend is something that one passes by however, achieving a personal style by adapting the constant change of trends is a much larger challenge in itself.

As a start up company we are taking on this challenge to become a part of something much larger. As Shakespeare quotes: ‘The World is your Oyster.' As far as we are concerned we believe that ‘The Universe is your Oyster.'

A little story about our journey.

Our story began with the issue of being unemployed and needing a quick boost in the career front. As a young couple in London it is by no means a challenge to be able to dramatically boost your career within the creative industry. After some thought and consideration of our combined experiences within several industries, we somehow then found ourselves naturally listing our connections and doing the research to get this thing going and here we are today!

As the founder of Design Universe Apparel I have previously worked in several fashion and interior retail environments and realised how unsettling some retail experiences are for customers. One thing that opened my eyes was the disorganisation within the back of house and the unfair treatment a client might receive because a brand is simply f*cking up behind closed doors – I am sure every single person reading this has been there.

Although my partner and I chose to take the ecommerce route, we started by combining both our strengths into creating something where we have full control over before even thinking of expanding. We know what customers want which is quality products and an excellent customer service base. These are certainly our top priorities in running this fabulous business.

As the founder of the company, I am a born graphic designer that could not accomplish their dream as an Illustrator because of the lack of wiggle room to find a permanent job within the industry. I am purely a creative person with a fashion hobby that has now become my beautiful reality. On a daily basis, I deal with the branding, website maintenance, social media daily engagement, garment selection, photography, styling and much more.

My partner and the CFO of Design Universe Apparel, has a great history within the fashion industry where he was once the Director of a Greek clothing brand by the name of ‘No Name' that currently runs over 10 stores in Greece. He had additionally managed the UK brand presence of a Greek shoe brand known as ‘MIGATO' where he solely managed their two London stores. In excess of knowing the ins and outs of running a fashion brand he is a true admin and spreadsheet wizard where he deals with all things admin, numbers and a great sport for making sure I eat, sleep and stay hydrated on a daily basis.

We believe in a world of fashion whereby one should simply feel comfortable and confident in their individual skin. Our ethos believes that confidence comes from within and no trend can dictate or improve ones confidence. What we are trying to accomplish is a brand that selects fabulous clothing that suits a wide audience and one that provides an A-class customer service.
