Unquestionably the worst place I've ever stayed. It's described on the website as 'quality', 'fully furnished and appointed', 'refurbished to a high standard, tastefully decorated and stylishly fitted'and 'Space privacy and tranquility in a totally self-contained luxury apartment'. These descriptions are so inaccurate they are outright lies. 'Luxury' is beyond a joke. The flat in which I stayed (one-bed on the first floor) was shabby, & clearly not decorated for many years. There was no fitting that could be described as 'stylish'. There were places where the wallpaper was peeling away, & the walls were stained. Dining table wobbled. Toothbrush cup was filthy. Towel rail was broken. Light over the sink did not work.Toilet wobbled. Ancient boiler, didn't work properly. Hot water was intermittent. It also had no safety check certificate sticker (legal requirement). Microwave was so old it was unusable (dangerous levels of radiation). Gas oven very old, lit with matches, knobs partially melted, & oven door became dangerously hot. The pots and pans in the kitchen-inc. aluminium saucepan and rusty wok-were of an age and condition that would be rejected by a charity shop. Crockery, cutlery and utensils were cheap, old, & looked like a jumble sale assortment. Kitchen units were old & peeling; some doors didn't close properly. No fire blanket/fire extinguisher. Old portable cassette/radio. TV was was also old, 15" CRT. There was a VCR player and LP player. No DVD/CD player. A digibox (the only vaguely modern item in the whole flat). Bed was lumpy, with broken springs. Old carpets, badly fitted and not clean. None of the provided electrical items had safety check stickers (legal requirement). Plug sockets in the bedroom didn't have switches. Smoke detector didn't work, no safety chain on the door. Wifi extortionate £10 p/w. This property is a total disgrace.
