Dodgy Trader to avoid

I've engaged Dan Tipping for the flag laying work for my garden on Oct 2021, he has quoted me a low price of £1600 and urged for 50% deposit immediate. I trusted him by paying and quoted another summerhouse project, however, on the second day of work, he started to tell me that he made a wrong calculate and made lost for my project, so urge me to pay extra £1200 to finish the project. I've left with no choice cause the garden has become a mess done by him. This whole tricks had happened another 2 times and he has all sort of excuses not to come on site, be it he went to covid jab, his partner is tested +ve for Covid, the wagon for materials broken for TWICE!!! I've terminated him from the project and ask for a refund for my summerhouse project (deposit paid for £1000). He has promised to refund £1200 since Nov2021, but he has only paid £50 and keep dragging for other payment. This trader is definitely a nightmare would cause you anxiety. AVOID!
