We have engaged Doug Fowler – Architect on two separate occasions to draw up plans and submit these to the local planning office for approval on behalf of our company. My wife and I were left a delightful but very run down Victorian house in Clevedon. There are two floors and a basement and attic. We asked Doug Fowler to have a good look around and to come up with a costed plan to cure the leaks, ensure that the electrics, water and heating were safe. This he did quickly and efficiently. We then asked him to oversee all the work that needed to be done. He talked through with us the quotes, enabling us to make the decision as to which ones we wanted to accept. He hired the successful applicants and took oversight of the work, ensuring that the results were thorough and completed to a high professional standard. It so happens that we live and work 100 miles away from our house in Clevedon and so we were totally dependent upon Doug at every stage of the undertaking. He was punctilious in keeping us informed of the progress and consulting us when necessary. He dealt with the smaller decisions himself. Doug was courteous, efficient and highly professional throughout the whole time the work was underway. Essentially, we must add, Doug maintained a very good working relationship with the workforce.
