About us

Driving Unlimited is a driving school for individuals who wish to invest more in their driver training than just vehicle control. Our enhanced curriculum based on international best practice includes greater development of hazard perception and anticipation skills, understanding the implications of journey context on the driving task and the link to safety - such contexts include distractions, fatigue, influence of others, impairment, night driving and proving insight into how an individuals personality may impact on their future driving decisions.

The Driving Instructors of Driving Unlimited are specially selected based on their knowledge, experience and passion for road and driver safety. They each participate in additional training derived from an EU Project HERMES - which is internationally recognised as the highest standard of driving instructor training.
The driver training is conducted in either a Mercedes-Benz A or B class, or a BMW Mini. Each vehicle is fully dual controlled and displays the regulatory L-plates but are otherwise unbranded, as it is important to us that our customers don't feel like they are being advertised to the wider environment as a learner driver and that they can fully intergrate into the normal road environment as a more descreet learner driver - which will help their development and safety beyond passing the driving test.

The philosophy of Driving Unlimited is that every customer is able to achieve their full potential in life. Delivering the very best driver training and ensuring our customers are included in the 4 out of 5 drivers who don't crash within their first six months of driving is what is important to us.

Our skills and expertise allows us to develop and deliver this enhanced curriculum within the normal timeframe of driving lessons through greater teaching and learning strategies, maximising the use of additional private practice and state of the art e-learning.
