mercedes classic car service
I Have just picked up my car from Duffy Motors in central manchester.. I was struggling to find an independant garage who new how to handle an old Mercedes. What a refreshing change to get a great service and someone who knew how to treat my Merc. I found Lee the owner very knowledgeable towards my Mercedes W123 280TE. He assured me my car was in safe hands and he was right, it came out of Duffy Motors sounding lovely. Lee also managed to get rid of that annoying miss fire at 3k revs. All in all a great service. Most garges would run a mile at an early 80's classic not Duffy Motors. Very happy indeed.

Fantastic Service in the City Centre
I finally decided to try an independant garage to service my VW Passat as an alternative to Gilbert Lawton VW Manchester. I found Duffy Motors literally just off Deansgate, right under the new Hilton Hotel. You couldn't ask for a more conveinient location. Booked my car in for a major service and spoke to Ken who advised of the cost & explained that the only possible 'extra' would be a £18.00 pollen filter should it be needed. I was contacted in the afternoon to say that my car was ready and told the total cost. The cost of the service was the same as quoted and the pollen filter was not needed. When I collected my car, I couldn't believe that they had give it a wash and almost a full valet!!! I almost felt embarrassed, my car had been hoovered!! I have NEVER hoovered my car EVER!! I also got a free air freshener (hint dropping?) duster & de-icer. My only regret is that I didn't discover Duffy Motors 10 years ago. The service you receive is second to none, absolutely superb.
