Poor workmanship
"Poor workmanship" is what an insurance assessor quoted as the reason they would not pay out on my insurance claim for a leaking roof on the orangery that Simon Brown's company built. He refused to fix it because my partner wrote a bad review about him./ his company. I have had to pay out for a new roof, ceiling, lights and flooring due to water damage. I've also had to replace sofas because the rooflight wasn't fitted with UV filter glass as specified. I have never received any certificates for replacement doors and windows either which will cause problems if I ever try to move house!!!

Don't waste your money
Simon Brown Construction Ltd previously trading as Duraclad now operating as a sole trader-see his website and fantastic but untrue claims. The business has had a large number of poor reviews and membership of Rated People has recently been cancelled. Many customers who have had dealings with Brown and his company are highly critical of the poor service and bad workmanship experienced and want you to know about it but Brown continues to take down their reviews.
