Dwyfor Coffee Company started life over 18 years ago. Michael Squire the proprietor and Managing Director of Dwyfor began his business from the humblest of beginnings, in a shed in his garden. After travelling to the four corners of the world for many years, he returned to begin his Coffee business. He had identified an opportunity for Dwyfor to produce and sell quality coffees, coffee machines, teas and chocolate to cafes, restaurants, tea rooms offices, universities and schools centred in North Wales, at a time when a frothy coffee meant instant coffee whisked with hot milk.

About Us

Michael had then and still has a great passion and insight for flavour; he has a well developed and keen palate which can detect the subtleties and flavours that mark the different coffee beans. He is a master blender of the two beans that contribute to most coffee blends, Arabica and Robusta beans. These blends have given Dwyfor their signature coffees, such as Dwyfor Rich Roast and Dwyfor Exclusive. Once the blend has been given the final seal of approval after endless testing by Michael and his team, it is sent to our roasters, who will carefully replicate the blend exactly and it will then be prepared and packed into Dwyfor bags and despatched to arrive in our warehouses ready to be sold to our discerning customers.

In 2006, Michael moved Dwyfor Coffee into the current custom built premises in Nefyn, on the beautiful Lleyn Peninsula. The then First Minister of Wales opened the new Dwyfor business complex. Here you will find offices, warehouses, training facilities and engineering work shops to enable Dwyfor to pursue its business. The business has developed over the years and Dwyfor has become one of the major independent, Fairtrade Coffee suppliers in Wales. Sales continue to grow as the public's thirst for good coffee increases. Despite the arrival of branded coffee houses in North Wales, Dwyfor's strong branded image can be seen far and wide. The Dwyfor Coffee Company brand gives confidence for consumers where ever it is seen.

Service and Repair

We have already said that great coffee is partly dependent on a good espresso machine. If you think about what your coffee machine does for you in terms of contributing to your profits, then you need to keep that machine in tip top condition. Here at Dwyfor we have professional engineers, who can undertake that work on your behalf.

We service, repair and rebuild machines of all styles. Our team will call on you and in most cases can do the necessary work on site. However, if your machine needs more than the usual repair, we can bring it back to our workshops here, where our engineers can undertake the most complex work.

Where possible, we try and respond to a customer's request within 48 hours.

We can offer annual maintenance contracts to our customers to give them peace of mind. This can be simply to cover the call out and time spent, or to include parts too. The choice is yours.
