The charity also provide a range of educational and preventative services for children and adults including meditation and mindfulness to deal with relapsing conditions, such as stress, anxiety, anger, low self esteem, pain and depression which can lead to alcohol, illicit drug and medication dependency.

East West Detox offers a unique choice of holistic treatment, rehabilitation and relapse prevention for addiction. During the past 20 years we have helped hundreds of individuals change their lifestyles, many of whom were homeless, unemployed and living in areas of deprivation. We are engaged in ongoing independent evaluation and research into our unique holistic approach to managing addiction with Universities and professionals in the field.
A recent study following 65 patients through the treatment programme produced very positive results compared to conventional methods currently available in the UK.

Our team of trained mindfulness teachers offer practical training workshops in a variety of settings including schools, colleges, community centres and prisons. Programmes are available for a range of individuals, including children as young as 5 up to elders of 70+.
Meditation gives even very young children, power over their thinking and their emotions using enhanced self-understanding and self-acceptance. It is a gentle and effective means of overcoming a wide variety of psychological and behavioural problems, such as anxiety, hyperactivity and aggression.
