We had a lovely stay at Halicarnassus villa Bodrum. We were a group of five ladies (all in our early thirties) looking for some sunshine and relaxation away from the stress of London living. The reason we chose the villa was it's proximity to the centre of Bodrum and the size and space, the decent size pool was a big draw too. It didn't disappoint. It was immaculate and we had everything we needed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable there are four bathrooms with new suites. (There's also a garage- we hired a car so it was most useful) The owners live opposite, gave us a warm welcome and were on hand if we needed them but left us to our own devices. This time of year is perfect weather wise- we had warm sunshine nearly everyday and it was around the mid-late thirties. Bodrum itself was pretty quiet. Apparently most tourists (Turkish and foreign) have left by this time of year. This had its perks and downsides. If you're looking for nightlife then it's there but you'll be faced with empty bars. The restaurants were ticking over though. We went to relax though and we certainly did.

Just as described. Very clean,very well equipped villa with a very welcome private pool. Perfect for a relaxing holiday but just 10 mins by local bus to bustling Bodrum for the occasional day out. Torba has just enough eating places but so nice relaxing on the terrace, glass of wine and steaks on the BBQ...perfect.
