Established in 1996, Effectiveness by Design has clients throughout Surrey, London and the Home Counties. We are driven by one overriding principle: excellent, achievable and harmonious design to meet your needs. Our designs are fresh and compelling. Whether it is an extension, a loft conversion, new bathrooms or kitchens, a garage conversion or a full-house refurbishment we apply the wsame high levels of creative excellence with attention to management detail and cost control.
Choose from our design and planning-consent service or add project management for complete peace of mind. We begin with a no-obligation consultation: discussing your aims and ideas with you, talking about budgets and providing a cost for preparing drawings. We will discuss the idiosyncracies of each local authority and the planning approvals process.
Following approval to proceed we provide initial designs and discuss them with you before plans are finalised. Effectiveness by Design will then handle the full local authority planning application and Building Regulations process, including Certificates of Lawfulness where required. You are free to use your own builders or tradesmen for construction and finishing or you can choose from our own approved builders and tradesmen.
