Would not recommend!

We had an issue with our oil fired central heating system and contacted EHT. An engineer was sent who freely admitted to my husband he had never worked on our boiler type before. He went on to fit a wrong part in the boiler, resulting in the fumes it was producing being at toxic levels inside and outside of our home resulting in days of ill health for myself and my husband. Luckily we called them back and a different engineer discovered the problem. Further, the original engineer also caused a leak in the oil inlet pipe which left our carpet soaking with oil and completely ruined. It took multiple visits for the various problems, caused by them, to be rectified and when we subsequently took issue with the bill we were told we were not being truthful about having to rip up and replace our carpet (despite their engineer attending the property AFTER the carpet had been ripped out, seeing the ruined carpet outside, and working on the boiler with no carpet or underlay on the floor!) We are now being threatened with Court proceedings, despite the numerous issues we had to endure which were entirely down to the inexperience of their member of staff. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
