I have been practicing deep tissue and relaxation massage since 1990, when I qualified through the Wilbury School of massage, Brighton, in anatomy, physiology and relaxation massage. To deepen my understanding of injury and pain and how to treat it, I went on to study advanced massage under the osteopath Jonathan Hogg. I have also trained to be a registered birth partner(a Doula), because I want to better support and encourage women during pregnancy, birth and beyond. I am the mother of three fabulous sons. Through my private practice I have gained considerable professional experience. I have worked with pre and post natal women, the very young to the grandly old and treated a wide variety of conditions from sports injuries, RSI, whiplash, migraines, ME, frozen shoulder, etc. I have found it to be of invaluable therapeutic benefit for those recovering from injuries, operations or bereavement. I frequently work alongside my clients’ doctors, physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors, because massage complements their work beautifully. I am a sensitive and intuitive practitioner. Based on what you tell me and what I feel through my hands I will choose the most appropriate treatment for you, from gentle relaxation through to deeper remedial work. I am deeply committed to improving your sense of well being and overall health. Being a massage practitioner is for me both a passion and a privilege.
