Electro-Main understands not all electrical requirements can be completed during the working day therefore we have introduced a 24 hour call out service which is more convenient to our clients in the Wales and the West area.

Services

PAT Testing
Electro-Main provides the Inspection and Testing of Portable Electrical Appliances. Our main goal is to supply your company or organization with a comprehensive and cost effective solution to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989.

All Employers and Landlords/Letting agents are responsible by law for preventing any harm coming to their employees, customers and tenants when using electrical appliances or equipment provided for their use.

If your working environment or property has any appliances with a mains voltage plug attached, for example: Computers, Monitors, Printers, Kettles, Microwaves, Fridges, Vacuum Cleaners, Cash Tills, etc.

You will have a duty to comply with all the necessary regulations. PAT Testing is the best way you can fulfill this obligation. Failure to implement a procedure of Portable Appliance Testing can also have insurance implications


NICEIC Test and Inspection
No electrical system can be considered ‘Safe’ for use until it has been Tested & Inspected. Furthermore, all electrical systems deteriorate with age and usage; established systems should always be tested, on a scheduled basis, to ensure compliance with BS 7671. This type of certification is now increasingly being required by Insurance Companies and the local HSE departments.

Electro-Main is able to carry out Periodic Inspection Reports to all types of Industrial premises. This report will inform you of the condition of your electrical installation and any areas that do not meet current standards. You are also issued a full report on any remedial works that maybe required bringing the installation to a ‘Satisfactory’ standard

Electrical Report
Electro-Main can provide an Electrical Report, this is similar to a test and inspect, in that we carry out a visual inspection system, fuse boards and cabling. A percentage of electrical accessories are opened up and visually checked. An Electrical Report is prepared for you based on inspection of your property listing any items found that do not meet current regulations, and what work is required to bring the installation up to current standards.

Rewires
Electro-Main offers a complete rewiring service for all types of domestic properties. This also includes advice on the type of installation you may require, installation of all new cabling and correct type of consumer unit for your premises and all electrical accessories, including all up-to-date safety earth bonding according to IEE Wiring Regulations. All electrical works, carried out by us are NICEIC Certificated where necessary
