Elizabeth Fry Approved Premises is located in Reading, Berkshire. We provide support and monitoring for women over 18 in a residential setting. We accept women who are on bail, post custody licence (including HDC) and community sentences.

About Us

We aim to protect the public and reduce re-offending by supporting women involved in the Criminal Justice System to make positive changes to their lives

We have 21 single rooms, including one that is wheelchair accessible. We are able to consider women where English isn't their first language and who have current issues with drugs or alcohol, who have mental health issues, learning difficulties, physical disabilities, who are pregnant and those who are assessed as posing a risk to self.
