Embargo - a new era, a new club
I was lucky enough to get an invite to Embargo this week and I have to say there's a new kid on the block for the Kings Road set...or should I say a new, stylish, grown up and cool, kid on the block.So, lets talk about my two favourite things, rum and dancing. The drinks menu was impressive, I would advise kicking off with a red berry rum martini, now I've given you a tip you have at least 20mins to decide on your second choice and believe me it will take you that long to get through the list (lots of goodies on offer). Dancing, well what I can say, except, multicoloured lit up dance floor...need I say more?! OK, I shall, it's fun, the music was a cool, old school, hip, vibe, something for everyone, not sure if that's a constant, but I hope so as it could have been my iPod playlist - except it was put together in a much better flow.OK, one final note and this could be the clincher - the outside terrace. A haven for the long lost smoker or a relaxed place to chill, cool off and energize before hitting the sparkly dance floor.Have a great one!
