ESS is headed by David Beckwith who, prior to setting up his own business in financial services and training, was a field sales and retail manager. He was invited to run training sessions in marketing and sales and was a project tutor on the very first business start up programmes in Essex in the early eighties. He has since continued to support small businesses as a business trainer and adviser throughout the county.

David has worked as a business mentor for Business Link and local colleges, is SFEDI (Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative) accredited and is currently running the ESS Business Planning Programme for BDS Business Development Services, the local enterprise agency in Braintree dedicated to helping new and existing small businesses in North West Essex.
