We have a complete technical team with specialist knowledge of all aspects of Ambulance repair methods covering the full range of mechanical servicing and repairs, electrical repairs and component installations including various blue lights Systems. We have a wide range of skill levels range from Mercedes-Benz Guild Diagnostic Technicians to Ford Technicians. Our technicians are also fully qualified with NMI Safety Systems, FERNO, FGAS / Air conditioning, Eberspacher Heating systems, Unwin Safety Systems, Fire Extinguisher Maintenance to BS5306 Parts 3/8 and FITAS affiliated. We can provide any level of vehicle conversions from full RRV's (Rapid Response Vehicles) conversions to any Adhoc specification required. Our dedicated fully equipped fleet of mobile fleet support vehicles are capable of most on scene repairs and in the event that an on site repair is not possible our fleet of Emergency recovery vehicles are available 24 hour 365 days a year and repair services with courtesy vehicle support where vehicles are immobile. We provide full East of England and the Home Counties area coverage to ensure your vehicles are attended to with alacrity. We have an extensive fleet of hire vehicles including A&E Frontline Ambulances, PTS vehicles and Rapid Response Vehicles. Our daily rates are very competitive with additional savings on bulk and long term hires. Essex Extreme Bodyworks (Sister Company) Our large fully equipped Bodyshop can perform any level of repairs to vehicle body's and chassis and their Specialist Technicians are all ‘WAS' Ambulance Body trained. Our Bodyshop amenities embody the latest in repair technology with ATA (Automotive Technician Accreditation) trained Technicians in all the required disciplines of Paint, Panel and MET (Mechanical, Electrical & Trim) to compliment our fully trained ATA Visual Damage Assessors. Our trained technicians are highly skilled professionals and Automotive Technician Accreditation has been developed to enable identification of them. ATA is a voluntary assessment programme for technicians working in the motor industry. It has the backing of major vehicle manufacturers, independent repair organisations, Insurance organisations and Thatcham. Our ATA registered technicians sign and are bound by a special Code of Conduct. They are issued with a photo identity card, included on a public register on a dedicated website. ATA is based on National Occupational Standards to ensure that it meets the skills requirements of the motor industry. To achieve accreditation, our technicians have had to pass a series of practical assessments and an online knowledge test at an ATA Approved Assessment Centre. Essex Extreme Bodyworks (Accident Repair Centre) are accredited under the BSI kitemark scheme for PAS125:2011, (Public Available Specification). BSI Kitemark Licence No: KM 568159. PAS125 is the industry agreed technical specification for the process of vehicle body repair. It provides our Bodyshop the processes and procedures directly related to the safe repair of accident damaged vehicles. PAS125 details minimum requirements for competent personnel, appropriate and well-maintained equipment, suitable repair methods and quality for repair materials. The PAS125 focuses on the four key elements of repair – methods, people, equipment and materials, as well as our repair process management, with an emphasis on continual improvement. As a result, PAS125 directs our Bodyshop to the achievement of a safe and technically sound repair. We are audited directly by BSI twice a year (through unannounced appointments) which ensures that Essex Emergency Services 2000 Ltd maintains compliance to the requirements of the specification. Our statutory compliance system is monitored by IRIS Coatings Ltd (including our Environmental Management System) which covers the following: The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and all underpinning Regulations The Environmental Protection Act 1990 including amended Acts and underpinning Regulations The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 IRIS Coatings audit us twice a year.
