A lovely accommodation with very good breakfast and welcoming treatment We were met at the door and treated with great courtesy by Tracey. Rooms were ready and our downstairs room was very spacious and very clean. It was nice to have a large room and we liked the idea of the shower being separate from the toilet and sink. The location was great because it was just a short walk in one direction from some very good restaurants, an entertainment area (movies, etc.) and convenience store. Then in the other direction, just a short walk, a post office and small shops. We also walked to the train station, several times, which was convenient. Bus service is also available. The morning breakfast was on time and very good. This is a very good place to stay for the Duxford Museum and/or air show. All the staff was very cordial, friendly and helpful. What I liked best was the room size, on site parking, location and breakfast. There was nothing I didn't like.

4 star quality for 3 star prices Fairways is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Being Coeliac, I need a gluten free diet and the breakfast provided for me was generous in it's proportions and delicious in it's quality. Mike, the owner, is sympathetic to my needs and nothing is too much trouble. We have s tayed there now on 4 separate occasions and will certainly return on our next visit to Cambridge. I recommend it highly.
