Ballet Classes

The School offers a structured programme of Ballet for both children and adults. Students are prepared for examinations or can dance purely for enjoyment. The School has a disciplined but friendly atmosphere. Our aim is to encourage creativity, develop dance technique and the enjoyment of dancing.

"Weekly lessons give us the opportunity to be part of the ballet ritual of barre work, centre work and turns and jumps. The summer courses, however, provide the chance to be part of an ensemble performance. You realize how much cooperation is required; peripheral vision, altering your step size to stay in line, moving in time with the music.
