Contrary to popular belief ecologists are not there to prevent development or complicate the process. Our team of ecologists are highly skilled in client and stakeholder liaison, have a thorough knowledge of protected species legislation and relevant planning policy, together with very high standards of report writing. We are members of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM), and fully comply with the Institute's Code of Professional Conduct and Continuing Professional Development (CPD). We also hold yellow Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) cards.
We are able to provide a full range of ecological consultancy services including protected species surveys and site studies. We hold specialisms in wetland ecology and design (including wetland treatment system (WTS) design), ecohydrology, terrestrial and aquatic botany, vegetation description and analysis, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), mapping, topographic survey, and 3D digital terrain modelling.
