Self help is fairly straight forward - two things: Click on Start, all programs, accessories, system tools and run DISK Cleanup followed by the DEFRAGMENTER.The defragmenter is your route to peace of mind! This this little but vital tool that makes your computer run as fast as its hardware specification will allow. It should only take about 60 seconds. If it is taking hours then keep on doing it until it does take only a minute. Once sorted do it at least once a week. With Vista SP2 change it so you only do the C drive and schedule it for a daily run at a time when your not using the PC. Remember: Keep your sanity and defragment your C drive.
