Disappointing
We took 22 people to this restaurant last night for a birthday. After the organiser confirmed we could have the brilliantly sounding ‘buffet-style set menu' for 22 we arrived to find everything setup for us. So, why was it so terrible? a) Refusal to server tap water, in jugs or glasses to members of the party b) Waiters unprofessional - not once did they offer to take drinks order, offer to bring further 'helpings' of the buffet-style set menu or (God forbid) check that 'everything was alright' c) Main course of poor quality d) After finding a MANAGER to server us the further 'helpings' of the buffet menu where obviously watered down (!) - Several members of the party being of Asian decent where "appalled at the quality!" e) The entire party was made to feel unwelcome and a nuisance The only reason it gets a star is because the Cobra draught lager was so good. Service here is slow and slap-dash with food well below par. In short, avoid.
