Worst experience ever. Be aware of this company!!! They deal under at least 3 different names on ebay. I found vinyl flooring on ebay from a dealer flooring 4 uk. They had their telephone number 0113 2361 455 advertised to enquire about different sizes. I rung them up as I needed about 72 square metres. The man answering the phone named O B did not know if they have all that in stock and promised to find out and get back in touch. I called another 2 times that day without him knowing anything or calling me back. You would think that a company would be happy to sell a large amount of flooring like that, but apparently it was not that interesting. The next day I had to call him twice before he knew if they had the flooring. I asked him to put the complete order of different sized pieces onto ebay so that I would have buyers protection. He declined and said only paying via the phone would be possible, but he could sent me an invoice via email. after receiving the invoice I paid and the flooring arrived on a Friday, 4 days earlier than estimated at our house. Well normally you would say brilliant quick delivery, but as Mr B said the flooring would arrive either on Monday or Tuesday we had had the flooring fitter arranged for Wednesday. There were 5 rolls. 4 of them 4 metres long and extremely heavy. The delivery man dumped them in our hallway, had me signing for delivery and was off. We then had several days of climbing over huge rolls to enter, leave the house or even just get from one room to the next. Luckily our carpet fitter was able to come earlier and started to lay the flooring on Tuesday. After finishing 2 rooms, he called me to report a problem. Unwrapping the roll for our bedroom he discovered that the vinyl was badly damaged in several places. There were big punctures in various places, so the flooring could not be installed. I called Mr B immediately. He promised me to find out if they would have more stock, call me back and then to send a replacement. Of course he did not call back. I called twice more without him being able to tell me if they had the flooring. The next day in the morning he did not know either. It was just the usual " I will find out and call you back". Again...No call back. I called him again and then he said he did not even manage to make a call to enquire as he was busy serving customers. Hello?? Customers?? So once you have paid some money you are not a customer any more? One email from me with the threat of pulling the money back onto my credit card and a call from my husband brought us to the point where apparently they are not interested in delivering a replacement or refunding us. They say we need to solve this with the delivery company and it is not their business. The delivery company did NOT tell me that I need to check the rolls for damage. Further the huge and very heavy rolls did not show obvious signs of damage. Well. Aware that the dispute with lovely Flooring 4 uk will last longer than we are willing to live without flooring in our bedroom I ordered a piece of vinyl for a higher price from online-daily-deals and paid for it straight away on paypal. After receiving the paypal receipt I noticed that they have in it an automated message with the same telephone number 0113 2361 455 as Flooring 4 uk. My husband spoke to them and they then said, they would not have the flooring in stock and would refund the amount I had just paid on paypal. Still no flooring. There was another company on ebay offering the same flooring and they had a number for enquiries which was different. So I called them asking if they would trade on ebay under the names Flooring 4 uk and online-daily-deals. The man on the telephone said yes, so I hung up on him. A few hours later most of the adds on ebay for that product have disappeared. This company is really fishy and I can only warn you not to make any business with them. There are other flooring suppliers out there who probably are not as obnoxious and more customer friendly.
