Suzanne is an experienced Reflexologist who received extensive training to a high standard with the Northern School of Reflexology (Diploma level 3). She is a fully insured member of the Professional Reflexology Association.
Suzanne has also undergone extensive training in Reiki 1 and 2. She has attended numerous workshops/ seminars linked to Meridian work, Acupressure and Maternity and Fertility issues.

REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology is extremely good at balancing the Endocrine or Hormonal system.
The hormonal reflexes on the foot are stimulated and an energetic link is made with the controlling Pituitary reflex which acts rather like a sergeant major keeping the rest of the hormones in order.

ACUPRESSURE
The next stage involves working the energy meridians or channels which run from the feet through the major organs and glands of the body.
Any energitic blockages in the bodies energy system can be felt when manipulated with finger and thumb pressure. This can take the form of mild discomfort to a bruised or pin pricking sensation.
When energy blockages. which are often felt as sluggishness and tiredness, are freed off, through acupressure (Acupuncture without the needles) the previous discomfort or sharpness can often completely disappear.
Areas of discomfort of sharpness felt on the energy meridians denote a problem or unbalance within the body.
When the sharpness or blockage is dealt, with it has a positive effect upon the body.
Energy levels will often improve, unexplained pains will disappear as the bodily systems are brought into balance.

REIKI
The last stage of this powerful treatment is to balance the Chakra's which are part of the energy system of the body through Reiki or 'hands on' healing.
Universal Life Energy (Chi) is channeled through the practitioners hands via the Chakra's, to the clients own energy centres or Chakra's.
This can often be felt as soothing warmth gently and gradually washing through the body.
This process which balances the Chakra's is extremely relaxing and peaceful and clients often feel rejunvinated and energised at the end of the session.

Reflexology, Reiki, Hotstone Reflexology and Hormonal Balance treatments.

As an established reflexologist, I provide reiki and reflexology in the Scunthorpe and Doncaster areas. I work mainly as a mobile therapist where treatments are held in the comfort of your own home. I also hold sessions in a pleasant upstairs room at 'Essentials of Beauty', Crowle, in the Isle of Axholme.

Reflexology is a gentle therapy where the reflex areas of the feet are massaged using a variety of pressure techniques. This stimulates the bodies own healing mechanisms and is excellent for promoting relaxation, releasing tension, improving sleep patterns, improving mood and increasing well being, and as a result can be a beneficial support to those experiencing illness.

Reiki can bring a sense of peace and tranquillity to a session. I use Reiki with Reflexology to a lesser or greater degree, depending upon the needs of the client. Reiki can also be delivered as a 'stand alone' treatment. My sessions are always geared to each individual person.

Hot Stone Reflexology
This is a luxurious reflexology session where you can experience a soothing foot and lower leg massage using heated basalt stones and warmed essential oils. Heated stones are also placed against the neck and shoulders and on the energy centres of the body for a nurturing and deeply relaxing experience.

Endocrine Sweep
The Endocrine Sweep helps to balance the hormonal system and is particularly good for helping to ease P.M.S. and menopausal symptom
