Dispicable Customer Service - stay here at your peril
We left in utter disgust ... My girlfriend and I booked this poor excuse for a hotel, as we were having a much-needed pamper at a local spa. All we wanted to do was have our massages, relax over a nice meal and retire for a sound sleep in relaxing surroundings. During our phone conversation with the receptionist, we booked a double room and were not told about the fact that a large graduation party was being held in the hotel - which would most definitely have put us off, given the nature of our stay. Also, we were not told there would be no food available because of the party - something we didn't find out about until check-in. We were shoved into an awful room, in what must have been an outhouse in the middle of their busy car park. This meant that we were treated to the local smokers' gossip right outside our window, a car being parked (and I'm not kidding here) 6 inches from our door and cars being piled into once they'd drunk the bar dry. The room we were given was a disabled room, which wouldn't have normally been a problem, but I dread to think how a poor person could have been expected to get their wheelchair into the room with a car parked so close that even I had to bend the car's mirror back to enter. When we complained, there was no apology whatsoever and all the hotel could offer us in way of recompense was to phone another hotel to get rid of us. AT 9.45 AT NIGHT! So, there we were, late in the evening, a shabby, noisy room in the middle of a car park, no meal and having to deal with someone who had no clue whatsoever about customer service. We left in complete disgust and just wanted anyone else thinking of booking a room here to not have to go through what we did. I have never dealt with such loathsome people and hope never to have to again.

What a find
We have used this hotel and restaurant several times, and have always founs the staff and surrounding nothing short of fantastic. We have always been made welcome and been well catered for. There is always an extensive and freshly cooked menu, we had our wedding reception here, and it made what should be a great day antway, even more memorable and cherished. We will definately being using many times again.
