Our advice to any one considering a career in fostering or any existing carers seeking to move to another agency is to carry out your research, take your time and explore different fostering providers. It is important you feel "right" about the fostering agency to which you apply.

About Us

Established in 2013 Foundation Fostering is a small high quality independent fostering agency based in Worcestershire. Our mission statement emphasises our goals and what we are about i.e.

Our mission is to provide children and young people with a happy home life and positive outcomes through looking after the well-being and development of our foster carers with integrity, respect and understanding. Put simply, we know that "a looked after carer means a looked after child"

We recognise Fostering is a complex task and foster carers can at times feel unsupported which is why we provide tailor made, real support for each individual foster family who foster with us. This we know, increases the potential for successful outcomes for the children we care for.... whose needs and welfare are paramount.

Our values are based on integrity. For us this means transparency and honesty but equally for us it means the capacity and willingness to acknowledge those areas we can improve upon. There is a quote hanging up in our main office which we adhere to, it states: Excellent firms don't believe in excellence..............only in constant improvement and change.
