I found this company while I was looking to buy a nursery furniture set. I was in a hurry and very close to my baby due date therefore I contacted the company BEFORE purchasing the set because on their website it was specified that the delivery would take about 20 days. I was replied promptly that the specific set was already in stock and It wouldn't have taken more that 10 days to arrive. I then placed the order straight away (24th of November 2016). After few days of not having received any update on my order, I emailed the customer support as they never respond on phone, inquiring abut the dispatch of the furniture. I was replied that the pieces were being manufactured and therefore could not be shipped on due dates that was specified/promised by them earlier while taking the payment. I was then very surprised to hear that as I have been assured before purchasing that the whole set was already in stock in their warehouse. After an exchange of emails expressing my disappointment for the deception, I came to the conclusion that nothing could have been done but wait. They however tried to reassure me by saying that they have urged the manufacturer to speed up. About a week later I was contacted by another operator informing me that the delivery would happen at the end of the following week. I asked to be given a more specific day, in order to have my husband home being 9 months pregnant. I wasn't given any answer. After few days I contacted them again and another operator replied saying that they will get back to me with an estimated delivery date once they will know it, and therefore not confirming the delivery at the end of the week which was given to me by the previous person. Again I got disappointed because of the misinformation and the unprofessional behavior. I was so informed than there was a delay with the manufacturer therefore it was not depending on them. Also that they would deliver the set but the cot bed will follow later at a generic 'before Christmas' time. After a series of emails, asking them to arrange the delivery of at least the available items possibly during the weekend, which was conveniently ignored on the next Monday (12th December) I was given the XDP tracking details for the items (except the cot bed with still no date) with delivery on the following day. For the WHOLE week, I received nothing. Everyday they would contact me from Funique on email or phone telling me that the delivery would happen surely on that day or the following. The next day the blame would be put on the shipping company which apparently (and as shown on the tracking) misplaced on the the items. I asked to be delivered at least what was there but still nothing. I was also told that to avoid the delay, they would send the cot bed in a car and not with the delivery company. In the end they confirmed the delivery for Friday and that by Monday morning I would receive the tracking for the cot bed (therefore nullifying what I was told the day before about the delivery of the cot bed occurring without the shipping company). After not having received anything on Friday too I contacted them again. My numerous requests during this whole weeks to initiate a refund procedure were conveniently ignored, answering with meaningless apologies and blaming the shipping company. Today (19th December) and still no items, I still have received no answer by Funique and no tracking for the cot bed. I have instead been contacted for the first time by the shipping company notifying a delivery of only 2 out of 6 parcels for today in the evening. I do not know where the other items have gone missing and what is the status of the cot bed and I have no way to know as nobody would pick up the phone or answer my emails. I am utterly disgusted by Funique's unprofessional attitude towards their customers, refusing to take any responsibility on their items, ignoring refund requests and deceiving the customer just in order to sell. This whole delay, which is even aggravated by upcoming Christmas holidays, has been affecting my family a great deal, having to borrow a cot from friends for my newborn baby and still not having anything ready, not knowing if I will ever get my money back or when and if I will ever been delivered the items. MY ORDER NUMBER IS 100002518 DATED: 24 NOVEMBER, 2016. UPDATE 19TH DECEMBER. I have just received 2 pieces (1piece out of 3 of the wardrobe, and the top piece of the changing table), therefore leaving me with nothing I can assemble. I have opened the small packet to see how it looks like and the first piece I have taken out is damaged (the white enamel is all chipped away in one corner). Contacted them about it and no reply.

For a start I would give this company no stars if possible. My experience to date has been nothing short of a disgrace. To give a brief summary I purchased 6 dinning chairs at £653 in July 2015. After a number of broken promises on delivery dates I finally got the chairs in October 2015. At first they seemed fine although upon closer inspection I noticed there was dollops of spray glue on the surface on the legs of 3 of the chairs which I carefully removed, there was a large deep scratch on the leg of another and the wood was chipped away and cracking on another. The quality of the chairs was sub standard and in no way reflected the price paid. I got onto the company following receipt and after many attempts of trying to get hold of someone I informed them that 2 of the Chairs in particular were not fit for purpose and that I wanted a full refund. After some negotiating it was agreed that the they would take the chairs back. It wasn't until 8th December that the chairs were collected in two batches. What was shocking is that 4 of the chairs were being delivered to what clearly was another customer in the UK and I have no doubt that these were re-sold as new! Following the receipt of the two damaged chairs by the company on 22/12 I was informed by Monika that the refund would be issued within a couple of working days. Since then between Mike and Monika and the mysterious "Financial Dept" I have been given a number of broken promises which is clearly a case of delay tactics. This a clear case of the attempted Fraud of a customer is but its clear that is nothing new to Purple Tree Investments Ltd trading as Funique. Since their incorporation less than a year ago (18/02/2015) they already have two Judgments registered against them. This company should be struck off and not allowed to trade. The fact that the Director Aleksandra Agata Chlopec is based in Poland is also convienient from a litigation point of view. That said I will be pursuing the matter through the Courts

We opened a trade account with this company so have ordered several times. On all orders we have had to refund our customers because of the diabolical service of this so called "company". They had a supply issue at the start of the year so we ad to cancel orders. We have one outstanding order where one of my customers had ordered 15 chairs. We are on month 5! To date 5 chairs have been delivered with 3 of them being damaged or marked in some way! We send emails daily, have threatened them with court action but they don't care. They owe us thousands. Please be aware this company are trying to re-brand (to cover up the bad name of Funique!) they are using the name Lasca and are apart of Purple Tree Investment. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE - the company and the people are a disgrace! They were very keen to start a business relationship with us and as a new company they have caused us many issues, almost ending our business - I advise more people to come forward and shame this awful company. Scum!

Ordered a cotbed for my 18 week old daughter. I was told it would be delivered by early august but had still not heard anything by mid august so I chased the item. Took at least two emails before they replied telling me it would be delivered on Thursday 14th august. I waited and it never arrived so chased again. I was then told it would be delivered on the 15th august. I was given the number for the delivery driver who I rang. They use a polish company and I was told that it would be delivered by 10pm. I had no choice in this matter. I rang at 9.45pm to check where the driver was and he informed me that he would arrive at 11pm! I have an 18 week old daughter and on top of that when did 11pm become an acceptable time to take deliveries? I will never order from them again, absolutely appalled with the customer service and delivery.

Purchased Solid Oak Table and set of chairs. Very happy. Table looks great in my dining room. Chairs match perfect to the table. Satin fabric used for upholstery makes my dining area looks so posh.

Great Cot Beds

I went all over the web trying to find a cot bed for my young child. All i could find was cheap Chinese product or really expensive European ones which was not good for me until i found these guys. I Got a cot bed (hello Baby Line)that is so fantastic and for a price that you could not believe. i am very happy that i looked every where and found Funique.
