We stayed at Gages Mill for a couple of nights, ( week before last). On our arrival Kate gave us a lovely warm welcome and even told us some of the Gages Mill history. Our room is just what you would expect from a fourteenth century mill, "quaint & cosy" ~ lovely decor and the en-suite was modern & spotlessly clean. From our window we had a splendid view of the countryside, sheep grazing in the distance & of course their own gardens with cottage style flowers attracting some lovely birds & wildlife... A kettle was provided in our room for making drinks, and a basket containing a variety of teas/coffee/chocolate sachets & biscuits & milk pots (fresh milk was also offered.) The full engish breakfast was superb! also the scramled eggs & salmon on a muffin was yummy! The whole experience was great! well done Nathan & Kate, you will be seeing us again for sure...

I am recommending Nathan and Kate's guest house for the following reasons: As, I was travelling from Leicester to Dartmoor I consulted the web site, this informed me of the high standards I could expect. On arrival these standards fulfilled the standards without exception What cannot be expressed by a website, was their warmth and helpfulness. As a singe woman,I felt very comfortable spending my two nights at Gages mill. I will return and recommend a stay here without reservation. Stayed August 2014, travelled solo
