I had a quote and booked a date for work to be done. The day before he was due I was called to say he had doubled booked. I rearranged for 2 weeks later for 08.30 start. On the day he did not appear. After 2 phone calls (went to message) and a text I finally received a text, late in the morning to say 'I forgot, sorry'. Nothing else, no suggestion of how he was going to redeem himself, but a selection of excuses. Not looking at your diary before you leave home is not an excuse. Responding to customers on text is very bad form - face up to what you do wrong and call them. I had made arrangements to work at home that day, I turned away someone who came to do another job, because I wanted to leave space free in the drive, I had previously turned away the 2 other tree surgeons who quoted for this work. Running a business is not just about the skill of managing trees - it involves business/diary management and customer service too. This company has neither of these last 2 and I therefore have no idea whether their tree work is any good. NOT recommended.
