Hello All at Gemini, I thought that I should put something in writing regarding our recent experience of having a complete new kitchen fitted by Gemini. We had tried a number of kitchen companies before settling on Gemini. What decided us was, first that they were local and if we had a problem we could pop in and see Tony the Project Manager. Also there was the lack of a scripted sales talk which all the other people we tried insisted on giving us even when we requested that they didn't. When will these big companies learn to delegate responsibility for sales talk to some of their excellent sales people instead of making them jump though hoops and go through a long boring sales talk that most customers don't want. At Gemini what we got was answers to our questions, advice and costings all within the space of our initial visit followed by a home visit to measure and finalise the printed plan. We were well advised regarding the disposal of our old kitchen and appliances.so as to minimise cost and maximise disruption. Gemini even handled the purchasing of new appliances as selected by us at competitive prices,. Although our kitchen was out of action for over a week during the preparation and fitting of our new one, working on the advice from Gemini we coped quite well with our microwave, gas ring etc. Best of all, Gemini handled all the teams required to come in and do their bit such as the plasterers, the electrician, the plumber and the gas fitter. All this was arranged without us having to do anything or worry about whether they were reliable and skilled craftsmen. Checking out tradesmen can be a hit and miss task but Gemini sent us only experts. We have nothing but praise for the craftsmen who worked on our new kitchen. In particular we were impressed with the two plasterers who completely replastered our kitchen including the ceiling. They worked none stop and finished the job to a high standard in less than two days. Garry the craftsman who was responsible for the plumbing and the fitting of the kitchen is a perfectionist and was with us for most of the time it took to complete the job. He was organised, tidy and the standard of his work and the care he took with our new kitchen was impressive. He even brought a gazebo on a couple of days when rain threatened so that he could carry on working outside instead of making a mess inside.
