we stumbled upon this place by accident and I wish I had known about it years ago. We were greeted on arrival by a young man in a casual kilt which set the scene for the rest of the evening. We were then taken into an ante-room where we ordered our drinks and were given our menus.very relaxing - in front of an open fire. The menu was full of local and seasonal produce.I opted for the scallops in linguine for a starter which were fabulous followed by the chicken stuffed with haggis in a whisky sauce. the best I have tasted without a shadow of a doubt. My partner had the local lamb and it fell apart as soon as he touched it with his fork. it has a good reputation locally and it was so good I booked a table for a return visit over Christmas. Apparently it has lovely grounds and overlooks the golf course too - however it was dark when we were there so I'll have to take their word for it
